Fed-up with vacuum bottles and clumbsy stoves Dwight Aspinwall and Perry Dowst set out to solve the problems that they saw as obvious challenges in the hiking stove marketplace.

After untold hours of experimenting and trial runs the two inventors zereoed in on what is now the essence of their product offering - High efficiency heat transfer. Making the regular runs from lab to mountaintop the two tested various incarnations and put the prototypes through the paces.
